We have many great fishing opportunities. You can bring you gear and stay at the lodge while going fishing in the local lakes and rivers on your own, to taking full guided fishing trips with some of the best guides in the Northwest.

Fly Fishing or spinner bait fishing for cut throat in a remote mountain stream that will be accusable by horse back. you will overnight in our Historic Gilmore ranch and should be in good physical condition as this trip involves riding and hiking.

Jet Boat the Snake River in Hells Canyon or the Salmon River and fish for our gigantic prehistoric river sturgeon. These fish get up top 10 feet long and 600 pounds. It can be fabulous with multiple hook ups a day. Cost varies depending upon groups size. Call Terri for details.

Salmon Steel Head fishing is our most spectacular fishing trip is a 2 day float trip in a rugged road less area of the Salmon River otherwise known as the "River of No-Return". On this float trip you will be fishing for large steelhead that have traveled 400 miles from the Pacific Ocean to come back to these clean waters. You will overnight at the Luxurious Whitebird Summit lodge and Terri will have some home made gourmet meals for you. Steelhead is best in late fall through spring. Let us help you hook into an Idaho Steelhead (ocean run Rainbow Trout) while taking in the wilderness setting of the Salmon River Canyon and it's wildlife. Salmon River Bass fishing:  As our water warms throughout the summer the smallmouth bass become the sport fish of choice. Our small mouth make up for there size (1 to 4 Lbs.) with their heart, one of the best fighting fish for there size you will find anywhere. If your an avid angler or novice this is great fun to add to your summer vacation.  The warm crystal clear water creates ideal conditions for the bass and the angler who is looking to enjoy the beauty of the Salmon River Canyon. 30 to 40 fish days are normal for most clients.
