Whitetail hunting in the Back Country

trophy white tail deer hunting idahoThis is a unique hunt as it is a horse pack hunt into the back country for trophy Whitetail Deer.

 The whitetail average is around 130 B&C with 180 class bucks taken. This area is regarded as one of the top trophy spots in Idaho where many record book bucks have come from. We have almost a100% harvest rate on these hunts. The hunt occurs during the rut and provides lots of shooting opportunities.  We shoot only 8 pointers or better.

trophy white tail deer hunting back country idahoStill hunting is the preferred method. We have the traditional back country camp. The whitetail deer hunts are done by horse back. We set up camp at the Historic Gilmore Ranch cabin. Or 20 Mile camp with a traditional tent camp setting. There is little to no other hunting pressure in either of these areas.trophy white tail deer hunting idaho

 We pack into camp and have the opportunity to hunt clear cut areas that were cut in a number of years ago. This makes for some excellent shooting opportunities for our hunters.

We also will be offering whitetail hunts out of out luxurious Whitebird Summit Lodge and drive the hunters to other hunting areas. Depending upon weather we will decide which area these hunts take place within ur 325 square mile. Hunting will be spot and stalk, still hunting and stand hunting.

 

Fully Guided hunts for Trohpy Whitetail Deer. Seasn is November 6th through November 21st.

$2,500.00 per hunter in the back country

$1,500.00 per hunter for our semi guided lodge hunt for a goup of 4 minimum.
