This area is a wintering ground for the entire region and has deer and elk migrate in, the Lions soon follow. By mid winter many lions enter the area. Our transportation will be by snowmobiles to the hunting area, then by foot with our hounds. Our hunt gives you two guides with dogs to one hunter. You will not find any other outfitter in Idaho that offers that kind of service. Everyone has their own sleds and non hunters are welcome on the hunt. We have the ability to overnight at the Gilmore Ranch or stay at the luxurious Whitebird Summit Lodge. This part of Idaho has produced many record book cats and the genetics are superior here. We expect 90% success. This is a great hunt to bring your wife or children. They can participate in the hunt if they would like to or just stay at the Whitebird Summit Lodge and enjoy the evenings with you. Every year we hunt for lion we take a record book cat out of the area. Hunts are customized to fit your schedule anytime in January, February and possibly into March if conditions permit. Hunts are until you harvest or 7 days in length. Price is $4200.00 per hunter. Non hunter rate is $225.00 per day with a sled or just come stay at the lodge for $125.00 per day and enjoy the evenings with your hunting buddies.   |
